Memories have always been the main theme of my work. It’s the way how I build my furniture, that
reminds me of the carefree creativity of my childhood.

Furthermore, I want to invoke good memories and creativity in other people through my work.
In the same way that I believe, that some part of an artist’s energy is also present in his or her
work,
I’m also convinced, that certain objects develop some kind of spirit due to the role that they played in peoples lives. They become something special, that goes behind their material value.
Like bridges to our past, they act as a vault full of memories and emotions, which connects us to
important episodes of our lives, that other people can’t directly experience.
At the core of my Play Anima Project are those used objects, that for various reasons have
been abandoned by their previous owners or are not longer able to fulfill their original purpose.
Out of respect for their history, I created a wooden shelter for them, a safe space that protects
them and gives them a new meaning at the same time.
As vases, they can become again a part of peoples lives and containers for new memories.
